Janine Slater, widely known as “Janine the Skin Queen,” is an award-winning medical aesthetician, laser specialist, educator and Certified Laser Safety Officer with more than 14 years of experience in medical aesthetics.
Throughout her career, she has become known for her deep understanding of laser technology, advanced skin rejuvenation and highly customized treatment plans designed to create natural, visible results. Her philosophy is simple: exceptional outcomes do not come from merely operating a device. They come from understanding the science, selecting the correct technology and building the right plan for each individual patient.

As a former clinical trainer and applications specialist for Lumenis, Janine has trained medical and aesthetic providers in advanced laser technologies and treatment protocols throughout the country. She has also served as a lead medical aesthetician, classroom laser instructor and Laser Safety Officer.
At Posh Aesthetic Institute, Janine is developing and writing the comprehensive laser and microneedling curriculum. The programs are designed to give providers a meaningful understanding of safety, science, patient selection, treatment planning and hands-on clinical application—not simply device operation.
Her education spans laser physics, IPL, Nd:YAG, fractional resurfacing, CO₂, hair removal, skin rejuvenation, RF microneedling and advanced combination treatments. She continues her own studies in peptides, wellness and functional medicine.
