Why RF Microneedling Is Different

Before Appointment

During Treatment
The VirtueRF handpiece is moved across the skin in a controlled pattern. Most patients describe the sensation as a warm prickling. The RPD system ensures the needles enter smoothly, and the sub-pulse technology distributes the energy in a way that maximizes comfort without reducing efficacy. Treatment time typically ranges from 30 to 60 minutes for the face.
After Treatment
Immediately after treatment, a specialized post-care protocol is applied to soothe the skin and accelerate recovery. With SmartRF, most patients experience light redness that resolves within 24 hours. DeepRF and ExactRF treatments may involve mild redness and swelling for two to three days.
Results begin to appear within two to four weeks as new collagen and elastin form.
How VirtueRF Works
VirtueRF was the first FDA-cleared RF microneedling device on the market. It uses 36 gold-plated microneedles driven by an exclusive Robotic Precision Delivery (RPD) system. The RPD technology inserts the needles with a smooth, controlled motion that eliminates tearing, dragging, and surface trauma.
Once the needles reach the target depth, radiofrequency energy is delivered directly into the tissue. The energy can be broken down into controlled sub-pulses, which means you receive the same total amount of heat energy for collagen remodeling, but it is delivered in smaller, more tolerable bursts. DeepRF is used for skin tightening, body contouring, stretch marks, cellulite, and laxity on larger areas like the abdomen, arms, thighs, and glutes. On the face, it is used when patients need more significant tightening than SmartRF alone can provide.
Downtime with DeepRF is slightly longer. Expect mild redness and possible swelling for two to three days.
